Project Credentials

In 2003, Sydney Construction Materials submitted a Development Application (DA) for the Newnes Junction Sand Extraction and Kaolin Mining Project.

Integral to the DA was the Enviromental Impact Statement (EIS) which laid out the project's credentials. You can view the EIS by clicking here or on the link to the left.

Following a public display period and after receiving submissions on the EIS, SCM ammended and enhanced the project design. This additional detail was presented to the NSW Government in a submission called Supplementary Information. You can view the Supplementary Information by clicking here or on the link to the left.
